Better 05:21
I better think before I talk I better not stumble as I walk I better not get into this pain again And realize that you're not here anymore And you get sunshine after rain And it takes time to kill the pain And you can walk through another door And realize that you're not here anymore The pain is here that eats your soul And you just cannot let it go away Where do you have to go Come on and let it all Be set in stone and left behind And left becomes right and darkness is brighter
2.
Anyone Else 04:07
one day you learn what this talking was all about one day you learn what they really meant you can be anyone you've ever wanted to be anyone else but yourself and then you see what it's like when they say to you the freedom's only about to be dead cause you can be anyone they'd ever want you to be anyone else but yourself CHORUS: let it go, let go into your head all you know is only what you have been fed let it show - the look in your eyes full of pride let it flow - a part of them lives in your mind (yes it does) so get along with such a sad story you're just a boy who wants to be praised who could be anyone they'd ever want you to be anyone else, but yourself CHORUS
3.
Broken 03:53
Put yourself on a hold now Everything that you have - just go and throw it away Take a ride on the dark side, It doesn't matter how low, Just go, go, go, go. Over and over You gotta cut yourself to learn how bad it can get. It's just around corner, So do you wanna go there Or would you slip away Way too low to dare, to hope, To make your plans and to believe in Broken gods and broken dreams Nothing to lose, But would it set you free? And you know you can't fail now, Nothing can go wrong - it doesn't get any worse You took a ride on the dark side And it's a depth so low, low, low, low, low Who do you love now? Who do you think of now, when there is no one around You come and take it all over Because there's no better place, and nothing's left in the way Way too low to dare, to hope, To make your plans and to believe in Broken gods and broken dreams Nothing is here, nothing is clear Way too low to dare to hope To make a plan and to believe it Broken gods and broken dreams Nothing to lose, So would it set you free? It's when you see you're winning nothing Or you're just too blind to see Any way to make it happen But you know it's meant to be Know it's meant to be
4.
Chip Chop 04:23
they push you down to check if you would care to stand up and after you refuse to - there has to be nothing (left of you) and on and on - they approach you with charming requests and make it quick 'cause they want it to be made in a week ... or something chip chop chip they push you down to know if you would start to protest but you don't know what it's like, cause you're so fucking obedient and even when you drown, you know, you're not to be helped you're not alone but this raft is not to be left (so, sail on, plankton) chip chop chip CHORUS: sometimes you wish you were dead and you get all sick ideas in your head and sometimes you rather be mad cause they like you, cause they like you like that they push you down so hard - you cannot push yourself up but these are hands that feed so there are bones to be thrown too eventually, they say, you might get a longer lead (gotta get something to cheer yourself up) but you just want it (all) to stop. stop it right here. stop it right now
5.
i want to make you let it out want you to set it free i want to see you move apart or take a part of me and don't you want me to take you out or better take you home and get it all right here and get it all right here and right now let it go, let it go enough of seek and hide and... and it will blow, and it will blow my mind or break my heart and...
6.
Fall Apart 04:16
just another day to start to worry just another day to feel the pain suddenly i feel like i am sorry even though i am not the one to blame going round in circles get it done and ask for more day by day gets wasted its not a problem anymore I've got to fall apart now I shouldn’t even start to think about the day when it didn’t matter giving it away like it'd be the last one now you've got to fall apart was it on the first day when i saw you? when i didnt even know your name? suddenly i felt my eyes are open sudennly i felt im on my way going round in circles get it done and ask for more

i lay in my head you stay away until it's dead i only want you to be inside my shell i only want you down, down, down oh, say, i'm your pride my subconsciousness doesn't lie (is a liar)
9.
isolation ain't no good for no one, get abused by someone above they say you can be whatever you want, but nothing's gonna change if you don't go on on your own, try to get along they're so beautiful you're not here we go chorus: they say they're never gonna let you down, never gonna make you hurt get somebody who would tell you - you don't always get whatever you want every time you try to do it - it hurts yeah, it's making you hurt go on on your own, try to get along you're so beautiful they're not here we go chorus get so sick and tired of being alone give it up whenever you want being afraid to lose is just an excuse, yeah, it's just an excuse go on on your own, try to get along you're so beautiful i'm not here we go chorus
10.
Over and Out 03:04
had enough of keeping it down I just want to hold on the line drink it up and fall on the floor, just don’ t wanna hold it anymore had enough of trying to be someone else, i tried to ignore myself! real wrong there's something going on, there's something going on real wrong there's something going on right now let it go, don't let it go round what you feel is not what you see, oh no love is blind and so is your hate it's only in your head, now, let it go CHORUS don't you know your pain's only growing if you're letting it so. have a look around don't you notice - none is what you've been told. so many times it was about to get out of control. over and out, i'm better off. better off all by my own to get you sober right now
11.
Patience 02:47
i'm not talking love but the patience for the love alone ain't enough you break your back, your neck just to make it you crack your bones to make things go right love is not enough you to pray for love is juice of life dripping out cause everything that's around tries to break you your teeth are crumbled your blood's watered-down but nothing's gonna make you feel low even if you're shattered and blown but love to be, yeah, love to be gone like a morning star at the dawn CHORUS: 'cause when you feel you may not make it it's when your love starts spinning down you gotta feed your heart with patience got to feel like made of stone to keep it right and go round
12.
Ain't Enough 05:24
gone the time to hesitate is gone you're down on your knees 'cause you know this time it'll be enough 'cause you've done what you've done and you've got what you've got and you know there will never be another go it's raining outside and you know, you will never get a chance cause you've got enough, and enough is enough but ain't never never enough of this war

Black Maiden 01:52

about

In 2010 Backflow band entered the studio in order to lay down basic tracks for a next album. Later on in 2011 work on new material continued in band's private studio, but it didn't come to fruition due to different issues and unfortunate coincidences.

Following the hiatus Backflow band has gradually withdrawn from the active concert life, but decided to return to the unfinished material 4 years later in order to deliver it to the listeners. Songs' arrangements, vocal parts, missing guitars and percussion overdubs have been recorded, which have resulted in a new album - Permanent Issues.
